Five Sodder Children were stolen in 1945

Five of the nine children of George and Jennie Sodder went missing on December 25, 1945, from Fayetteville, West Virginia.

George and Jennie spent their entire lives still searching for their missing children:

  • Maurice Sodder age 14

  • Martha Lee Sodder age 12

  • Louis Sodder age 10

  • Jennie Irene Sodder age 8

  • Betty Dolly Sodder age 5

Children of the surviving family members are still fighting for the truth concerning this missing sibling case.
